After learning that disposable diapers can stay in the landfill 500 years, and counting how many diapers are needed for the first few years of a child's life, I decided to use Tiny Tots Diaper Service. At orientation, I learned that they have been around for decades -- and some new moms were themselves swaddled in Tiny Tots cloth diapers 20+ years ago! I was impressed the families came back. My own experience with them has been fantastic. The delivery service is excellent. They deliver the rental cloth diapers, pickup soiled diaper. The diaper pail does not smell at all -- it has lived in both our living room, and bedroom. The "Nappi Clips" invention obsoletes the more risky safety pins. I'm feeling pretty good about my decision to use cloth diapers -- it has been as easy as disposable diapers to use -- though initially I was afraid it wouldn't be. We were pros within a day. Anyway, as a new parent, one has to learn a system -- whether disposable or cloth, so why not learn cloth diapering instead?
